Salli is known to millions of fans as Dr. Allison Blake in Eureka, now in its fourth season on SyFy. She's appeared in dozens of popular television series, including Criminal Minds, Bones, House, MD, NYPD Blue, CSI: Miami, as Viveca Foster on Family Law, and as the voice of Elisa Maza in the Disney animation classic Gargoyles.
Salli has directed an episode of Eureka and is producing the upcoming feature film Pastor Brown.
Salli began her professional acting career in the theater at the Kuumba Workshop in Chicago. She appeared on stage with CCH Pounder in The Old Settler at the Pasadena Playhouse. After appearing in several motion pictures and guest star appearances on television, she landed recurring roles in Mercy Point for Columbia Tristar and Rude Awakening on Showtime.
Salli lives in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Dondre T. Whitfield, and two children, Parker and Dre Whitfield.
