At my first meeting with Ava, she said I seemed "mad" and "guarded."  I was actually deathly sick and warily checking out this new director.  I knew that she was an incredibly intelligent sister and that she had written a great script, but my question was, could she get that on film?  I have never been more surprised by the result of a film as I Will Follow.  Ava took a small amount of money and made a film that was beautiful and moving beyond belief.  I thank her for the opportunity to show people the work I can and should be doing.
